At 10:00 a.m. on May 6th, Ph.D. student Fanghui Liu's doctoral thesis defense meeting was held in Room 2-410. The Defense Committee is composed of Professor Pengfei Shi, Professor Xin Yang, Professor Shiliang Sun of East China Normal University and Professor Wenju Li of  Shanghai Institute of Technology.

      At 9:30 a.m. on May 7th, Ph.D. student Yun Gu's doctoral thesis defense meeting was held in the conference room on the 2nd floor of the Translational Medicine Building. The Defense Committee is composed of Professor Pengfei Shi, Professor Guoyan Zheng, Associate Professor Yu Qiao, Professor Shiliang Sun of East China Normal University and Professor Zhijian Song from Fudan University.

      At the defense meeting, Fanghui Liu reported his doctoral thesis "Research and Application of Data Adaptive Nuclear Learning Theory". Yun Gu reported his doctoral thesis "Research on Intelligent Analysis Algorithm for Endoscopic Microscopic Image". After the inquiry and answer, the defense committee conducted a closed-door discussion and voted unanimously to grant Fanghui Liu and Yun Gu a doctorate in engineering.
