Congratulations to Ph.D. student Liu Fanghui's paper "Indefinite Kernel Logistic Regression with Concave-Inexact-Convex Procedure" (by Fanghui Liu, Xiaolin Huang, Chen Gong, Jie Yang, Johan AK Suykens) is an important journal in machine learning. IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems hired. The paper proposes a logistic regression method for non-positive definite kernels, and develops a non-precision concave-convex strategy to solve it. Extending the non-positive definite kernel to logistic regression has important theoretical significance and application value.
