On the morning of July 24th, Dr. Yang Jie’s doctoral students Wei Xu and Lei Zhou's doctoral thesis defense meeting were held in Room 2-530. The defense committee consists of Professor Shi Pengfei, Professor Yang Xin, Associate Professor Huang Xiaolin, Professor Sun Shiliang from East China Normal University, and Professor Li Wenju from Shanghai University of Applied Technology. Professor Li Wenju is the chairman and Assistant Professor Tu Enmei is the secretary.

      At the defense meeting, Wei Xu reported his doctoral thesis "Study on Small Samples of Computer Vision Problems". Lei Zhou reported his doctoral thesis "Research and Application of Deep Learning in Screening for Sugar Net Diseases". After inquiring and answering, the defense committee conducted a closed-door discussion and, by secret ballot, unanimously agreed to grant Wei Xu and Lei Zhou a doctorate in engineering.
