   杨杰，男，1964年8月出生于上海，汉族。获德国汉堡大学计算机系工学博士学位，上海交通大学图像处理与模式识别研究所教授，博士生导师。

                       学 历

    1981-1985年 上海交通大学自动控制专业获学士学位。1985-1988年上海交通大学模式识别与智能系统专业获硕士学位。1989年作为国家优秀研究生获国家奖学金赴德国汉堡大学计算机系攻读博士学位，参加了德国科研部重点科研项目“TEX—K”（专家系统构造工具）的开发，并获得德国汉堡大学计算机科学博士学位。

             现任职务  

    上海交通大学图像处理与模式识别研所副所长，上海市科委"十五"信息领域技术预见专家、期刊《红外与激光工程》《计算机仿真》、《生物医学工程杂志》《光机电信息》编委、图象信息处理与智能控制教育部重点实验室学术委员会委员、上海系统仿真学会理事和"智能信息处理"专业委员会主任、上海市自动化学会模式识别专业委员会主任、上海市图象图形学会"模式识别"专业委员会主任。

            学术兼职 

  全国计算机用户协会仿真机分会副秘书长、国际电气与电子工程师学会（IEEE）高级会员，全国自动化学会会员，2001年SPIE多谱图像处理与模式识别国际学术会议"数据挖掘技术"分会议的主席。                                               

           学术成就    

    已在图象处理、模式识别、数据融合、数据挖掘、人工智能领域主持承担20多项国家和省部级科研项目，包括：国防973项目1项、国家863计划项目2项、国家自然科学基金项目2项、中法和中韩国际合作项目各1项、上海市科委重大项目1项、上海市科委重点项目2项、教育部重点科技项目1项、国防"十五"预研项目2项、国防"九五"预研项目4项。入选教育部"跨世纪优秀青年人才培养计划""优秀青年教师资助计划""骨干教师计划"、上海市教委"曙光计划"和"曙光优秀学者"。作为第一完成人成果 "用于建模、优化和故障诊断的数据挖掘技术"入选国家863计划十五周年成果展并获2001年中国高校科技进步二等奖，被评为国家863计划-CIMS主题先进个人。作为第一完成人成果"家庭远程医疗监护和咨询智能系统" 已申报国家发明专利并获2001年上海市优秀发明竞赛一等奖。已发表专著1本（在德国出版），在国内外重要学术期刊和会议上发表论文137篇，其中被SCI检索17篇，被EI检索47篇。已指导博士后1名、博士研究生24名、硕士研究生26名，获得美国Rockwell Automation杰出教师奖等多项奖教金。

  Jie YANG ,Male, Han majority, was born in Shanghai, in August 1964. He received a Ph.D. in computer in Department of Computer, University of Hamburg, Germany. Dr Yang is now the Professor and director of institute of Image processing & Pattern recognition.

 Professional Services and Memberships     

     Vice-director of institute of Image Processing and Pattern recognition in Shanghai Jiaotong University, expert of information technology in Shanghai Science Committee, he is also the editor in journals of infrared and laser engineering, computer simulation, light mechanical electronics. And he is the committeeman of  the Image information processing and control emphases lab academic committee of Ministry of Education , Member of Board of Directors , Shanghai System Simulation Association ,director of the Shanghai Artificial Information Processing professional committee, vice-director of the Pattern Recognition  Committee, Shanghai Image and Graphics Academy. He is vice-secretary-general of simulation machinery sub-association ,National Computer User  and high-ranking member of IEEE and Institute of National Automation. 

Academic Achievement

　Charged with more than 20 nation and ministry scientific research projects in image processing, pattern recognition, data amalgamation, data mining, and artificial intelligence, which includes one national defense 973 project, two national 863 projects, two national nature fund projects, Sino-French and Sino-Korean cooperation scientific project, two Shanghai Science Committee important projects, Shanghai Science Committee emphasis project, ministry of education emphasis scientific project, two nation defense “tenth fives” scientific research projects, five nation defense “nine fives” scientific research projects, he has published a monograph in Germany, and issued 137 papers in important learned periodicals and conferences. And he was awarded the Rockwell Automation Outstanding Teacher and more.
